Instructions From The Seattle Repertory Theatre
How to purchase tickets at the Seattle Repertory Theater
Option #1:
Deaf/hard of hearing patrons can send an email which includes the following:
- The name of the performance you want to come to
- The number of tickets you want to buy
- Your name
- Street Address
- City/State/Zip
- Email Address
If you have bought tickets at the Seattle Rep in the past, we may have your credit card on file.ÊIn this case, we'll simply ask for the last 4 digits of the credit card number and can process the payment at the time of reservation.ÊDo not include credit card information in your email. We will contact you after we've set up the seats.
IMPORTANT - NEVER, under any circumstances, include a full credit card number in an email to us (or anyone else for that matter). Emailing credit card numbers is NOT safe/secure. Seattle Rep cannot be held responsible if you send it and it gets compromised/stolen.
Option #2:
Call the box office using the Relay Service to purchase tickets.ÊYou will need to pay with a credit card. Payment will be taken over the phone and we can get all of the information we need during the relay call.
This option may take more time initially, but it's definitely the preferred way for us to do it, because your credit card will be safe and we can pass along any important information about the show all at the same time. Once we have your credit card information on file you can use OPTION #1 for future shows.
The box office is open Tuesday - Sunday, noon - 6 PM.ÊDeaf/hard of hearing patrons can call (206) 443-2222 or toll-free (877) 900-9285.
Option #3:
How to Purchase Tickets on the SRT Website
Deaf/hard of hearing patrons are able to purchase tickets on the SRT website. Patrons will be able to purchase tickets for any of our ASL-interpreted performances, and will have access to only particular seat locations that have been designated as having a clear view of the ASL interpreters. Patrons will be able to purchase tickets at the Seattle Rep, Deaf/hard of hearing discount ticket price of $22 per ticket. Note: A $3 per ticket service fee will be added to any ticket that is purchased online.
In order to purchase tickets online, patrons will need to do the following:
- Go to www.seattlerep.org/promo/asl
- This will take them to the season production list, which will list each of the shows.
- Click the "Read More" link beside the desired show.
- Inside a red box on the show description page, click on the link "Tickets On Sale Now".
- This will take the patron to a page, which will have the ASL performance available to select (at the bottom of the page, below the description of the show). No other performances will be available - only the ASL performance.
- Once the patron clicks on the performance time (in red), they will be taken to a page where they can purchase tickets (at the very bottom of the page).
- All of the available tickets will automatically show up at the $22 discount price, and the seats selected will automatically be in the ASL viewing section.
Some Troubleshooting Tips:
- If a patron has not followed the specific link listed above to purchase tickets, they will not have access to the correct price or seats when they try to buy tickets. The patron must use the link above to have the correct access to ASL performances, seats, and prices.
- There are a maximum of 3 seats in a row together in any of the rows of the ASL viewing section. If a patron were, for example, looking for 4 seats, the web would not be able to do this at once. Try searching for 2 seats, and then another set of 2 for a total of 4.
- The same idea is possible if the web isn't able to find 2 tickets next to each other-try searching for one seat at a time. The seats will generally be in close proximity to one another, even if they are not together.
- If a patron notices that the ticket price is not the ASL discount price of $22, the patron can try signing out of the website, and then signing in again using the Promotion Code of "ASL". This should have the same effect as following the link above.
- This will take the patron to a page, which will have the ASL performance available to select (at the bottom of the page, below the description of the show). No other performances will be available - only the ASL performance.
- If a patron is still having problems purchasing tickets on the website, they can send an email to the box office. They can then help the patron directly with purchasing tickets for any ASL-interpreted performance. NOTE: Do not include credit card numbers in any email! E-mail is a non-secure form of communication, and credit card numbers could be compromised
